Whatever happened to Thomas Matthew Crooks?

The attempt on President Trump’s life happened less than two weeks ago. Yet, due to a worldwide computer SNAFU by Crowdstrike, Biden finally dropping out of the race, and the vapid Kamala Harris being anointed as the Democratic nominee, the media has conveniently forgotten about the would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks.

It is extremely odd that we haven’t been inundated with press conferences where reporters ask questions and demand answers about how and why this happened. We haven’t seen photos, videos, or interview attempts with Crooks’ family members. This was a near assassination of a former president and a current presidential candidate. What is the single explanation for this? One word: Trump.

The media and the Democrats hate Trump. They couldn’t stand that he was nearly killed, stood up after the attempt, and shouted “fight, fight, fight” with his fist raised to the crowd attending the rally. They tried to paint Trump’s actions as politically shrewd, as if he was cognizant of the political calculation in the moment. If you watch the event unfold, you can clearly see it was an effort by Trump to simply let the crowd know that he was okay and was continuing the fight. He looked as shocked and stunned as anyone else around him at what had just occurred.

But now, with the iconic image ingrained in everyone’s psyche, the media must make an effort to erase this from our minds. After the Director of the Secret Service resigned in disgrace and FBI Director Wray testified before Congress, I believe the news about Thomas Matthew Crooks will fade to nothing. It’s pretty disgusting what has happened to American culture. We are so polarized that we cannot all unite in finding the answers to the near assassination of Trump.
