The Wall Street Journal put together a handy little personal inflation estimator. You check off the boxes of the things you normally consume and they pop out an inflation number. If I was a more normal person that consumed more processed food, pop, beer & wine, and less meat I wouldn’t be feeling the pinch so much. The biggest killer is gasoline at 45.06%. Even if I didn’t buy any gas at all my personal inflation rate would be 10.4%.

I don’t know how accurate their calculator is though. I regularly buy meat, beef in particular, and the price has not gone down.
