A Wall Street Journal story also has audio of one of the police ranting about telling Secret Service previously to post someone at that building and that some thought it was a cop initially on the roof. Supposedly the shots started 30 seconds after the officer that was boosted up spotted the shooter on the roof. Maybe that’s the reason for lack of audio in the first 1:40 seconds.

- If they suspected something wrong why didn’t a cop run over screaming to where the speech was happening to warn them of a possible shooter while they were checking?
- I thought the cop being boosted up to look on the roof fell and hurt himself? That narrative seems false.
Seems there was plenty of time to get this guy before he got off a shot. This kind of crap keeps all the conspiracy theories alive.
