Vivek Ramaswamy is ramaswaying me over to his side

John Stossel interviews Vivek Ramaswamy. The interview is an hour and covers a plethora of topics. Ramaswamy comes off as extremely knowledgeable. He is saying a lot of the right things and has an infectious enthusiasm for the United States, our founding, and our future.

I think he suffers from verbosity. He has too many things to say. Most Americans will be overwhelmed with his depth on topics. He can also come off a little too angry. He needs to hone his message with less anger and concentrate on something he said early in the interview. He talked about reviving our national identity and raising the question of “What does it mean to be American?” These are important concepts that Americans can get behind and it would, in my mind, make for catchy campaign slogans.

I wish he would get more coverage in main stream news. He needs more exposure because I fear there are too many people who are not ready for such a foreign sounding name and a person with Indian heritage. It doesn’t bother me one bit. I’d be happy to say President Ramaswamy.

Here is a short speech he made at the NRA Leadership Forum.
