In general, I’m against faux “bill of rights” legislation. These things tend to grant rights rather than protect rights we already have. You know… like the original Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution. But, on a political level this is going to score points.
This type of politics can beat opponents by scoring a lot of runs through successive small hits. Culture War, Free Speech, 2nd Amendment support, and anti-Health Fascism are singles and doubles by themselves. Put them altogether and we’re going to need to invoke a slaughter rule for his opponents. If he ever decides to run for President.
