I like to hike. I like to hike by myself with my dog. I like the process of hiking. I like varied terrain, paying attention to the trail, and listening to the sounds around me. Stopping and looking at things from time to time is okay but I much prefer keeping pace and moving through the world. It’s cathartic.
I went on my 2nd real hike in Georgia at Don Carter State Park. This was nice. Secluded, even though it’s less than 40 minutes from my house. I only saw one other person on the trail. Just me, my dog, and the world. Here’s some pictures from today.
