I just finished the book, “City of Big Shoulders – A History of Chicago”, this afternoon. The book was published over 20 years ago and it made me nostalgic for the city I grew up in and the people who lived there. I moved out when I was 19 but the city that was never moved out of me. It was the greatest place on earth.
I hope someday it returns to that greatness.
