When President Biden speaks this afternoon we can expect him to shove all the blame for the mess in Afghanistan on President Trump. ABC News is first out there carrying the water for the Biden Administration. They are floating the trial balloons on the “Blame Trump” strategy for Biden.
They know the Trump haters will not see that Biden reversed a great deal of Trump’s agenda within the first few months of taking office. Biden was not wedded to anything Trump decided. Especially with regard to a military exit. Biden is commander in chief and he could have easily chose a different path. He followed some really bad advice and now a lot of people that were counting on us are going to die.
We don’t know what Trump would have done different other than saying he would have left earlier. Would Trump have abandoned people, equipment, with no consequences for the Taliban? Somehow I doubt it. From the looks of what’s been happening you’re seeing absolutely no fear of Biden.
China has come out in support of Afghanistan and the Taliban. China has floated to Taiwan that they can no longer trust the United States to come to its aid should China invade. This debacle in Afghanistan will have repercussions with China, Russia, North Korea, Venezuela, and maybe even Cuba. Anywhere in the world where people are oppressed they are now less safe than they were a mere 8 months ago.
I am not for staying in Afghanistan. I wish we never stayed after we routed the Taliban at the start. That was the time to leave with the threat of coming back should they return to their old ways. I’m glad we are out I’m just not happy with the way it was done and the total shit show from sleep Joe and his idiots in his administration.
