President Biden lied comparing COVID-19 deaths to World Wars and 9/11

I didn’t watch live because honestly is Biden really alive? But seriously folks, I saw a few news reports about this address to the nation by our very sleepy president. He started out the first two minutes with an outright lie. He claimed there were 527,726 deaths due to COVID-19. He then claimed it was more than World War I, World War II, Vietnam War, and 9/11 combined. A quick search on Wikipedia shows WWI deaths at 116,516, WWII deaths at 405,399, Vietnam deaths at 58,209, and 9/11 deaths at 2,977. The death toll from those wars and 9/11 totals 583,101. I’m no mathematician but my calculator says he’s still short 55,375. In the old media days of “Orange Man Bad” this would have been fact checked to death and the headlines would have screamed, “Trump Lies About Number of COVID-19 Deaths”.

Why use those particular wars and 9/11 anyway? Why not compare it to the Spanish Flu instead? According to Wikipedia the death toll in the United States was somewhere between 500,000 to 850,000. At least then he could say this pandemic was just about as bad as the Spanish Flu pandemic that we’ve been comparing COVID-19 to all the past year.

He should have covered the approximately 375,000 needless deaths that may be attributed to Dr. Anthony Fauci and the U.S. bureaucracy by withholding information on Ivermectin and instead pushing unproven and unapproved vaccines by big pharma. See my post yesterday by Dr. Ryan Cole.
